Nice to get back to the hike a day on our days off. Today we started out by going up to Judd Falls, north of Crested Butte. A beautiful drive. Though I don't think there is any other kind around here.
Rivers and streams seem to twist and turn everywhere
We don't tire of the mountain views.
Come on Mom & Dad! There might be a yard up here somewhere!
Its an uphill hike
But it's worth it!
We pause for a photo op
Tucson managed to find one small patch of snow
From here we continue on to Lake Irwin
It looks recently thawed
A trail follows the stream
Which turns into Falls
and more falls. The spring flowers are starting to come out.
We pass by this fox who was kind enough to pose.
and a Horse and Foal
A totally enjoyable day!
Till Later!
Meanwhile, we keep on Trek'n
