Back to Work! 3 Rivers Resorts, Almont, CO

Time to get back to work.  We are closing in!

Here we are! 

The town of Almont consists of pretty much of the 3 Rivers Resorts and the Almont Resort. 

Here is the Store and smallest gas station in the world.  

There is also a full service Fly Fishing shop and Restaurant.

Here are some of the original cabins.

There are several new log cabin type park models. 

They are really nice inside.

The property is bordered on one side by the Taylor River which meets with the East River

to form the Gunnison.

I work at the Desk and Gift Shop, Gary is at the Activities Desk and Maintenance.  They book rafting trips, kayaking, stand up paddle boards, Duckies, Horseback Riding and more.  We are looking forward to doing some of the rafting trips and trying out the Duckies and Stand-up Paddle boards.

On the backside of the Property there is a dirt road that goes up the hill.  We walk it every morning and evening with Tucson.  Being at over 8,000 feet above sea level it taxes the lungs a bit.  Hopefully we will be whipped into shape by the end of the season.
