As part of our perks we get to go on the rafting trips whenever there is room. Today they only had 2 people on the Upper Taylor with Extender so we joined them.
I took along my cheap underwater camera from Hawaii.
The water is lower than last year but it makes it more challenging avoiding all the rocks.
We took a break before continuing on to the extended portion of our trip
I don't linger long in the water as the temperature is only in the 40's. A couple of the employees went out in Kayaks - the Raft Guides call them speed bumps.
Charlotte and Bill were the couple we joined.
It was tricky timing taking shots and having to row on command.
Thought I had set the camera to movie mode - guess not!
Our guide Ruth was excellent in guiding us around all the rocks.
Gary hanging onto his paddle (though that didn't last) - he was trying to save Charlotte from falling in - that's his story and he's sticking to it!
We have photographers on shore that get pictures as you go by.
We made it! These guys the following week - not so lucky
Can't wait to try the duckies out!
Till Later!
Meanwhile, we keep on Trek'n

Just checking you out to see where you are hanging your hat these days. Looks like you are in the beautiful wild Rocky Mountains of Colorado.
I drove through the Rockies north of where you currently are last August with the girls - the town of Walden and the area around it was quite picturesque. We went through the Rocky Mountain National Park from west to east, and were very impressed. (It was the opposite way that I had gone as a kid with my parents back in 1968). Don't know if you have the time to do that, or if you have already been there.
Sounds like you have a new dog - Tucson - whom I have not met.
Are you guys working in a campground for the summer?
